I hope this won't turn out to be true, as I want him to set a record - winning the F.1 Championship at his first attempt, but certainly Alonso looked happy and more confident today

Am I the only one to notice that since Alonso's sulking, and the publicised backbiting, that his performances in comparison to Lewis have improved markedly?

Lewis is getting nervous now that the season is coming to an end? His start though in Monza was pretty good though.

Depending on the outcome of the hearing on Thursday it could still be a ferrai title........

Lewis already has enough media attention, i don't want him to win the championship as i can't tolerate his smug little face being on tv any more than it already is.

Whatever the outcome he has shown he is a class driver and the sport is definitely more interesting with him in it.

The move on Raikonnen was sublime no idea how he kept that on the tarmac, I've not seen a pass like that in years all Schumacher ever did was carry more fuel and overtake through pitstops.

I don't think it is slipping away from him at all. This was Alonso at his very best and Hamilton is still learning, he needs more races to learn how to set an F1 car up properly (to the level that Alonso can). The next race at Spa will suit Lewis better. I still think he will win it. The passing move on Raikonnen was superb, he never gives up.
