Hi all,
I've put this in the pet section and hope no-one minds me putting it in the general discussions area to get a bit more "visibility".
My cat went missing yesterday lunch time and hasn't been seen since. This is highly unusual as he's mainly a house cat and he never strays from the back garden.
He's a White Persian and very friendly (answers to the name of Ting-Tong).
He may be in the Beighton/Sothall area so if anyone spots him could you please let me know as my wife and daughter are distraught.
Thanks
Have you put any missing Cat posters up?? The sooner you act, the better, if you ask me! I hope you find him

Yeah - wife and daughter are preparing them now.
Unfortunately I'm stuck at work so can't do much.
I have tried ringing the RSPCA - though the phone rings and then goes dead.

Hope it turns up.
Maybe it's just stuck in someones shed or garage hopefully and will be able to get out when the occupiers discover it. That happened to next door's cat. There's a rational explanation Im sure.
Where about's in Sothall Beighton is it to be precise? It's a really cat friendly area from what I've noticed living there. Hopefully it will turn up very soon.

He's back !!!
Woohoooo !!!
My daughter was in the bath and could hear a screech from outside - we ran to the door and he came running in!
He's no longer white - now a very dirty grey color !
As suggested, it looks like he's been stuck in someone's cellar.
He's now being spoiled rotten.
Thanks to anyone who looked for him.
  Welcome back lil pussy :D

nice one..!!
Our cat did the same thing about 6 months ago. He'd always been a house cat but was accidently let out. He turned up about 6hrs later after a good explore of the local neighbourhood.
He's out all the time now!!!

So pleased he's back again, give him a huge hug from me xK
Cats are resillient creatures. We 'lost' our female black and white cat many years ago.
We had been shopping and came back to find her collar and a bit of fur outside the back door, which obviously didn't bode well. After 11 days we had finally given up hope of ever seeing her again when during the evening I heard a pitiful and constant meowing at the front door. Opened the door and she wandered in pitifully thin but otherwise OK. I can only think that she'd run off out of fright from whatever happened and got herself locked in someones garage or shed.
