I THOUGHT england played well, heskey was a shock but did ok, owen looks on form, not sure on barry
but a good result what do you all think?

Barry did ok. He didn't give the ball away and provided the pass for Owen's goal.

Did as well as Lampard has been doing of late.

They went out did the job which needed to be done. I don't think anyone played spectacularly though nobody played badly. I think the team which played on Saturday worked quite well the main difference was in my opinion the best England team played rather than teh best collection of individuals. Normally England managers think to themselves Gerrard and Lampard yep there the best two central midfielders then put them together and they both want to do the same thing, go making runs up the pitch. I'm in favour of Gareth Barry keeping his place, he's probably in the best form of all the English central midfielders set up a couple of goals on Saturday and after 7 years of waiting he deserves to keep his place after the way he played. He's like Heskey older and wiser than when he last played he knows he's not a certainty to stay in the team so he'll be motivated to do a job he's told to do by the manager.
