I sure did Strix! :headbang:

'Tis a great place. Everyone is really nice and friendly so even if I go on my tod I don't feel out of place and generally end up chatting to somebody.

They have the 'open mike' session Sunday afternoons when anyone (well, with talent, presumably) can get up and on Wednesday evenings they have a band on.

The landlord is a really decent bloke and runs the pub very well. Never seen any bother or nutters etc.

I can't take my eyes off whoever is drumming usually. I'm starting drum lessons soon and cannot wait! There aren't that many drummers get up to be honest so who knows, in a few months time I might even be up there on stage misen!

Anyways - will be in this Sunday if anyone wants to come..

I used to go every week to the jamming sessions it's absolutley brilliant they give you the chance to play any of there instruments and sing if you can. i used to play the drums and i got up once and did an oasis track with this guy on the guitar he was brilliant. Also the drinks are cheap and it gets packed.

it's just changed hands ... new landlords ... wonder if things will stay the same once they're settled in ....

Closed down I see. Always a shame to see a pub shut but I shan`t miss the piles of puke outside the place.
