well well well

some tasty results in the FA cup today

Here are my fave results from today

Starting with the best
Sheffield United 3-1 Villa
what a great performance, but very lucky by united in the end

Man Utd 0-0 Exeter
surely Exeters best ever result!!!

Rotherham 0 - 3 Yeovil
awful from merry millers, they may be playing in same leagues next season though

Chelsea 3-1 Scuny
scuny even took lead against a team with 8 first teamers in starting line up

Oldham 1-0 Man City
Bit of a great result for oldham here

Hull 0-2 Colchester
shows that hull are not gonna walk the league now

Luton 0-2 brentford
excellent result for brentford here

Makes good for the forth round, as they say the magic is alive in the cup! Great result for Exeter, hope they can make the most of the replay.

Although I hate all football these days, and was never a blade, was one of the other type, when I was young.
I would like to congratulate SU for winning the world cup or whatever they have done. Well done. It's great news for the city.

I hope it is on display when I come to see yorkshire at bramall lane in the summer if there is a match, haven't been for a few years though!

14,000 at home to a premiership club. Villa brought at least 3000 as well. Don't give me that b******s that they were on the telly and you couldn't afford to go. We got 20,000 for a league 1 game on the same day and Swindon bought 800 at least. It was an embarrassing attendance whatever way you look at it. Poor support from the blades. Theres not a thing the blades can say in reply to this.

It wasn't directed at you pal! Just stating the obvious. Very poor support from the supposed best club in sheffield. Very embarrassing indeed, all blades must've cringed watching the game at home.

Never mind one day you at sheffiels 6 will have a good side but you will still be the **** of sheffield.
I dont care if you get 100,000 every game the team will never be as good as ours and THATS what matters:hihi:

It was a very poor turn out, but it obviously was affected by the fact it was on BBC1 and millions of people were watching it. I just don't get all this, what seems like, hatred for the other team in sheffield.

Lets all just face the facts. Yes, Wednesday have the bigger crowds, and yes, United are AT THE MOMENT, and for the last few seasons, the better team in Sheffield. I think both these facts are accepted by all resonable supporters of both teams.

As for the next round, I hope that United get a good draw at the lane... another prem side.

The fact it was on TV should'nt make a difference. Plymouth were at home, on TV, s*** weather down there, premiership opposition and they got 20,000. Like I said, no argument really. In a few weeks wednesday will be on sky, league 1 opposition, friday night kick off, at home and it will probabbly be s*** weather and we'll definately get more than 14,000 guaranteed.

But how many times have Plymouth played on TV against a premiership team? It is a new experience for them so regardless of TV coverage they would have got a big crowd. That plus they probably don't get charged the pants off them for entry like you do a the Lane.

ok well firstly, yes you will get more than 14,000
but................ you have 13,000 season ticket holders!!!.......
we had to pay extra for this one, where as in this game is ACTUALLY in your schedule
you don't charge as much for the tickets as united do.....
this game is on SKY, not BBC1, which channel do you reckon is easier to get access to??
you have a bigger fanbase too......

yes our atendance was poor, but would you like to compare attendance figures AND tv watching figures, because i believe you would get trounced on that by a few MILLION

Hehe, you won't let it go will you. I really don't think you are going to hurt any United supporter by saying the bleeding obvious. Yeah, it was an awful attendance, but the reason it has been talked about so much is because it was an unusually small crowd, not as if it is common.

I'm afraid you are just coming across as jealous now by not letting this go, as it seems to be the one bit of glory you can seem to cling to.

The thing is, we agree with you, Wednesday has a bigger fan base, yeah. You're getting bigger gates, yeah. This doesn't mean that Wednesday are the better team, even you must agree with this? United are the better team at this moment in time, and are now through to the fourth round of the FA cup, and are chasing promotiom to the Premier League.

lets just all agree that it would be great for the city if both teams get promoted this season and United beat West Ham!

Yeah, okay Wednesday have a bigger fan base, and they seem to get better attendances.

BUT, this is not, as most Wednesday supporters seem to believe, due to your moral superiority!
