Just thought I would praise a really good meal I had at the (now moved) Mr Kites in its new location off West St the other evening - it was a tasty cumberlnad sausage and mash and a glass of wine for a reasonable price.

I do hope the place succeeds in its new surroundings.

The scottish owner is very friendly and chatty.

Just one or two quibbles though ..

For 9pm the interior lighting was very bright - would be better to tone it down a bit to create more of an atmosphere.

Bit of a "fishy" smell on walking in - not sure if that was due to to the food being cooked that night - maybe best to invest in a air extractor/air con or something.
