As the title says really.

I'm looking for someone who I can talk to who has experience of Tourettes/tic disorders. My son has it and it is pretty hard for all of us. We are used to his behaviour but when we are out and he is sqeaking and yapping and twitching it is hard for him as well as us. He is aware of his 'different' behaviour and tries really hard to stop it but obviously he can't.

The 'proffessionals' are no help what-so-ever so I am looking for someone who has first hand experience who I can talk to.

Fingers crossed!

Thank you.

Parents at Ray Of Hope in Hillsborough should be able to help you there.

I don't have any experience, but I've found this link that may help:
