Calling all budding photographers!
If you would like to be part of an exciting image library we want to hear from you!
The current website focuses mainly on images from the Yorkshire area (previously known as Images 4 Yorkshire) but our priority is to add new images from lifestyle and commercial (offices/business/industrial) categories before launching i4 in the next couple of weeks, although any type of content will be considered.
Please see below for our guidelines:
• The contributing photographer must own the copyright to all images that are submitted to the library and should have signed releases as required. You will be asked to sign a Photographers contract to confirm these facts.
• We only accept digital images and are happy to accept images scanned from film, or those produced using a digital camera provided that the end result is of an acceptable standard.
• Images must be captioned and keyworded using Photoshop file info facilities.
• Images submitted must be:
1. Between15 -100mb
2. Submitted as a tiff file
3. Saved as Adobe 1998 RGB colour profile
4. Saved in 8 bit mode
5. The correct orientation
6. 300 dpi
• Preview images will be watermarked for increased security. Images paid for on line can be downloaded as high resolution files for immediate use by the client.
• The administration software will also automatically calculate the commission due to you, the contributing photographer. Our standard rate is 50% of usage rights fees.
