For those that don't know, Cerberus is the bigger of my 2 spiders. (S)he moulted recently, so has been hiding in hole for last week or two. Came in last night and he was out of his hole, looking huuuge!
Reckon a fair comparison would be like making a spider from your hand... kinda like 'it' from Adams Family!
Could probably wrap his/her legs fully round a beer can :)
I'll try and sort some new pics for those that are interested. (or can't help their curiosity) ;)

As soon as I get round to it I'll put pics up. Guess a can of beer or something would be useful to get an idea of scale.
Hmm.... I'll be getting some nice studio(ish) lights for the photography at the end of the month, so I'll certainly be needing a new subject to play with :)
Last time I put new spider pics up people complained they wouldn't sleep that night! I did warn them first.... :hihi:

Needless to say he's a bit bigger now (I also took the oppurtunity to sex the spider...definitely a 'he')!

How old is he? Don't they stop growing once they reach adulthood? Both of mine did (but admittedly, they were both female and weren't the same species).
He will stop growing when he reaches adulthood ;)
Got a few inches to go yet (*fnar* *fnar* :) ).
Got him in May 2006 as a small chap with legspan of maybe an inch.

No likey spideys. can cope perfectly well with ratties and other rodents, but Ugh! spiders!
