Advice required please:
When I click on Outlook Express, I'm connected to my E-Mail.

But when I click on Internet Explorer. A box appears stating that I've a connection problem. After following the procedure its suggested that I contact my provider to sort out the problem.

But when I click on ' Wanadoo '. I'm connected to the net.
Then by clicking on Internet Explorer, I'm onto Google.

Previously I've just click on 'Internet Explorer' to be on Google,
What's gone wrong?

Thank you.

I would recommend going with firefox first and foremost, then choosing google as your homepage, you could still use outlook for your email should you wish.

There's a setting somewhere in IE to automatically check if you have an open internet connection and if not IE initiates one.

I don't use IE but I'm sure someone here will advise you.

IE goes to Google first because you have it set as your 'Homepage'.

I've used Wanadoo's Help files and found out what was wrong.
All is now back to square one (All being well!!)
Thank you

Albert - Do you dial up, or have to initiate a connection (is this what you mean by click on wannado?)
If so in internet explorer goto:
tools - Internet options
Connections,
Select 'Always dial my default connection'
and ensure your default connection is set to the right one in the 'Dial up and Virtual Private Network Settings' box on that page.

Thank you everyone for your advice.
I'm now back in bussiness so with armour plated suit firmly fixed, earing aids switch off and pebble specs misted over, birth certificate in hand. I'm off to my corner in the Walkers Group!!
