Hi there,

I have found a virus on my Iriver h120 and removed this. The only prob is that I cannot add any music now as it ways it has a cyclical error? and if I try and delete any files to format the unit it causes a dump of physical memory on my computer and shuts the computer down?? Love this Iriver so dont wana get rid, anyone repair MP3's and if so any advice??

a Cylic Reduncancy check often means the drive (or disk etc) is dead, dont iRiver use small hard drives?? if this is the case, it sounds like its dead imho...

as for it shutting your machine down with the blue screen memory dump, you can prevent that...

right click My Computer, go to properties... then go to the Advanced tab, and click "startup and recovery" (bottom button) in there it has the option "Automatically restart" - untick this, below that you also see "Small memory dump" - set this to (none) - might be worth a try.
