Just heard that Pavarotti is described as 'very ill' tonight. I would have loved to have seen him sing, he has a wonderful voice.

I have a few of his recordings. Sorry to hear he's so ill and may be close the death.

Mods could you please update the thread title? I had a look to see if I could do it myself but can't.

RIP Luciano :(

"I think a life in music is a life beautifully spent and this is what I
have devoted my life to".

Well, he's gone. Will there ever be a more famous opera singer?

That's sad. I do like a bit of classical music.

Yeah, shame Pavarotti kippered it. I'll always remember Nessun Dorma, the 1990 World Cup song...

Luciano Pavarotti truely was a great singer, and the world will be much poorer without him.

R.I.P Luciano.

I saw on the news - some record industry guy said he had the worlds 2nd largest selling album behind thriller. This can't be right can it? So impressive its it true
