scross 07-01-2005, 04:19 PM reusable nappy demonstrator, baby massage instructor, dog walker, cleaning lady.
HoneyGirl 07-01-2005, 04:32 PM It depends where you have experience, maybe private cleaning or somewhere like the NHS which provides good discounted childcare for staff and I think take babies from 6 weeks old! - Good luck x
Strix 11-01-2005, 01:35 PM Small independant businesses are usually more accommodating than large companies, but Mr Strix used to work in an engineering office where the lady who did their admin support brought her baby in. The baby was particularly quiet though!
Ask anybody with kids - you can't plan.... Babies have their own ideas.
mitch05 11-01-2005, 04:26 PM Are you able to work from home? I saw an ad for data entry homeworkers on www.zapwork.co.uk (new site I found last week which has just got me a job :)) Might be worth adding your CV on there.

I work for Virgin Cosmetics and I'm looking for some new consultants. You work when you want and where you want. It's helpful if you're a car driver and have access to a car. Let me know if you want some more details.
ls212121 25-01-2005, 02:15 PM Hi, I know that Adaptable Childcare Solutions are always looking out for casual/permanent nannies/mother helps etc. Lots of families who are after a nanny will happily employ somebody who has there own child/ren and brings them to work with them. Could this be an option for you?
Try Adaptable childcare on 0114 2369452 and speak to Sarah.
Malvern 26-01-2005, 12:50 PM I don't know if you are able to have childcare in the evenings but if you can I am a candle and accessories demonstrator. Its great fun and flexible. Work you own hours day or night - no exp necessary but car is essential. No outlay for getting started either.

andrea 11-03-2005, 12:09 AM Hi not sure what area you are in but i started my avon round when my son was about 2 and still in his pram, gets you out meeting people and making new friends while earning a bit of spending money,
lara83 17-03-2005, 02:36 PM why not try a childminder like myself, the rates are low and you get flexibilty and sometimes in some cases you can claim some of the cost back from working family tax credits!
Twinkla_KayB 29-03-2005, 06:43 PM Why don't you hire me as a babysitter during the holidays???
Stringfellows 01-06-2005, 11:22 PM YOu could work for me at Ann Summers, loads of mums do this job as you work in the evenings and only need babysitters, which you earn more than enough to pay for. Once they start school, you also have all day free for school runs, concerts, sports day etc. Get in touch if you are interested
