N2C Systems 218 West Street.

My missus bought me a DVD Re-Writer,and basically i had'nt a clue how to fit it.

I took it back to the above computer shop, who not only fitted it for free, but alsso installed me the latest version of 'nero'.

The fellas in the shop could'nt have been more helpful !!

thought they deserved a mention !

Is that a licensed version of nero?

Yeh I know the place, bought a few bits and bobs in there. Surprised about fitting your hardware for free though, must have been in a very good mood!

I have found them to be helpful enough, a little expensive though.

Lol comic book guy had the funniest go at a delivery guy last time I was in there. The delivery guy refused to sign comic book guy's sheet because it was against their policy, cue a 10 minute heated debate in which the parcel had been moved from the van into the shop and back again about 10 times! I was trying so hard not to laugh.

They will match any price in Sheffield. I'm very impressed N2C. Between them and the Apple shop across the road you can usually pick up any part you need there-and-then.

Sometimes I haven't got time to wait for a delivery from an online store and I never want to have to pay PC-World prices for stuff.

I used them a lot when I lived in that end of town, and have never had a problem with their stuff or their service. I'd certainly recommend them, especially if you're looking for more than just components

Call me thick but what sheet, what policy?

Sorry, the delivery guy refused to sign the sheet that the shop used to keep a record of delivery because it was against the delivery company's policy.

I've been in there for a few items, they've always been fine.

In my experience you're far more likely to receive good service in a small shop like that than you are in PC World (spit).

They might be good at selling computers. Bloody awful to live near though...they dumped a crashed car outside my house for months on end. They were renting a house across the road which belonged to a friend of mine who was seriously ill. When she was finally cured and came back to it, you've never seen such a disgusting mess...................

Has anyone else had a bad experience with this company? Bloody awful service - the staff (one man with about 20 different hair colours, one man who looks like a little mouse-rat hybrid and another obese troll-like fella) - and shoddy gear. I'm about to take this company to court for poor merchandise that shocked me and thought I'd gather up similar experiences...

I sud them recntly and was quite satisfied with the service I had.

Nen12 - perhaps rather than personally abuse the people in the shop your case might be better served by putting your own experiences in writing to them and seeing whether there's something they can do to resolve the problem?

Joe P - considering the verbal response I received from them, I don't think I'll waste the ink. Customer Service does not seem to be their strong point. Though when it comes to taking your money, they're surprisingly eager.

How were you shocked? What shocked you? Who made the merchandise? I'm just curious.

I am interested also how a person's looks determine their customer service skills. Is their a chart that proves this? Some sort of ugliness to laziness ratio.
