Saw it a few weeks ago (not saying how.. and no, nothing illeal) i thought it was an ok film, but it needs WATCHING, (as-in, some bits could confuse you, if you blink and miss something) theres a few "far-fetched" things (as with all king stories) but overall its a decent film, and worth a watch..

I'm a big Stephen King fan, love his books but his endings always seem to be a bit of a let down. I think I might give it a go anyhow.

A great film with a twist at the end better than anything that M Night Shyamalan could write

Excellant acting from John Cusack, i personally would liked to have seen more of Samuel Jackson as he is an actor of great standing in my view

Ooh err - John Cussack, Samuel L and a Stephen King story - something I'll definitely be watching out for!

Recently watched Samuel L in Snakes on a Plane and was thoroughly entertained, I think he is much under-rated.

Probably would of broke the budget ... considering how much it cost for Jackson these days.

He knows that, we know that, its the reading of and the story that are enjoyable. its not like most things in life, say a train journey, or paying a bill, or going to the dentists where the conclusion is the satisfying part, if you read the dark towers series he tells you to stop reading a chapter or so before the end, and when the end comes....

and the same goes for certain tv shows,

Saw it on Sunday - I can't make my mind up if it was good or bad... So I'll say it's ok. Some bits were good and were good twists, but it wasn't anything special

It was ok, nothing special, but it was entertaining. I felt like i'd seen it before, the story was familier but i can't think why, as i havent read the book.

It's a great film, we really enjoyed it. The end is low key but high emotional impact IMO. Well worth watching but as a previous reposnse said - only if you have the ability to concentrate.

I can't remember if I've got that or not. I got rid of a lot of books a few months ago as I'd read them about 10 times - hope that wasn't one of them :o

I loved the short story and found it really unsettling. I haven't yet seen the film as I'm often disappointed by films of SK's books (except for 'The Shining').

Quite an original ending, i desperately hoped to god he wouldn't wake up in a hospital and it was a dream or coma or some ****e like that, but yes i was pleased about the ambiguous ending.

most of the conversions are crap,
this is one of the few sk books I don't remember reading:confused: but watched this film last night and it was pretty good really, not as chilling as the japanese ring, but makes you jump in a few spots and its a decent ending, worth going to see.

I agree about the endings...he somehow seems to run out of steam.....for example, IT, ended up not as a clown but a giant spider....so weird and not a good ending to an otherwise <not pennywise...sorry for the pun> good film !
