View Full Version : Celebrity Big Bro!
So what did you Big Brother fans out there think of the entrants of Celebrity Big Brother?
What a mixture... Bez = WTF :? what is he all about lol To bring someone up on stage during a video... Is that fame?
I feel Celebrity Big B should be made up of the has beens... Old soap characters/popstars that we havent seen or heard from in a while... people that we once watched/listened to an liked...
Band splits would be good... Steps/Five/S club/Attomic Kitten etc...
All i can say is the producers must have had a lot of refusals as i think they have really scrapped the barrel of Celeb's this time round :? Think they're gonna come unstuck next year should there be another... :(
Jeremy to win... :clap: he seems the only normal one in there so far lol...
I voted, its times like this when Im glad I have no TV ariel :D
A.B.Yaffle 07-01-2005, 09:13 I had heard a rumour that David Icke was going to be in it. That would have been interesting, but as for the people who are in it I don't think they could have picked a more boring bunch. It will be nice if the other contestants end up beating up that horse racing commentator though! :D
Whos that old woman with the glasses!:gag: she was really annoying last night! wouldn't stop talking . . . boring too.
I just wanted the camera focused on Caprice . . All night. Damn! she's gorgeous!!:heyhey: :thumbsup:
The old woman is Germaine Greer.
They have done it again..put a load of people together who will just not get allong!...Fantastic
I think Bez is ace..i remeber him from the mondays times..what a nutter he is. he will be the first person to roll a spliff on tv..but will he have the balls to smoke it!..they will put the chickens on for that!
Bez has got nothing to roll a spliff with - he says but then theres no cameras in the toilets.... Was it just me or did it sound a couple of times last night like they already knew who their fellow housemates would be?.....
I thought they seemed to know who would be joining them.
I think it would have been better if they did not know each other at all so they can`t make allowances for each other.
Not sure who I like best yet I think some are carrying on there acting a bit too much.
StarSparkle 07-01-2005, 13:02 If I hear much more of Germaine Greer's voice droning on, I'm going to go into a coma ..... (yes, I know I can switch it off - have just done so).
Absolutely loved it when Bez appeared last night - once he gets going that should liven it up a bit!
But Jeremy to win!
StarSparkle (yeah, ok, I'm sad ;) )
I think Bez probably win win (if he lasts the difference and doesn't get arrested for beating up the blazin squad'MC' or go mad) but I'd quite like Bridget to win (again if she doesn't inadvertantly squag/smother Blazin Squad MC)
Bridget could win it due to her being a nutcase but I'm not even sure I'm going to keep up with it to be honest. They seem a really boring lot.
Lestat, all due respect mate but...Caprice...gorgeous???? She's had way too much surgery on her face and just looks plastic now. Urgh! :gag: Aside from that she comes across as being thick as pig poo. :roll:
They were all to perfectly picked to wind each other up and I think it'll back fire and they will all be best mates (apart from Bez, I am still questioning the ethics of removing him from his usual environment...)
Celeb BB never gets that nasty anyway (descounting vanessas breakdown in the first one and the public demise of Les Dennis and his marriage in the second)
God I know too much about this! In my defense I just quit smoking so I have to stay in watching TV rather than go to the pub!

She's such a bitter person and I can't stand to watch the woman. Is she another one who's had facial surgery because now everytime she talks it looks like she's got a bad smell under her nose. :gag:

So does Michael Jackon... hmmm... :suspect:
Anyway, forgive me, but who is actually in this show then, apart form the ones mentioned. And Jeremy who?
This would be a really good show if they could get some real celebs in there, and get them to have some decent spats.

I'd love it if Bez did win (I couldn't believe my eyes when he appeared last night) but I just don't see him lasting.
I can see him getting bored out of his skull very quickly and departing. As Maddy says, the question is whether he will do some damage to another celeb first ( if I was the Blazin Squad lad in there, I'd be very scared right now - whether he's in more danger from Bez or Brigitte is debateable .....); or wind them all up to breaking point before going! Now THAT would be funny!
StarSparkle :thumbsup:
I think Bez will cause some real problems before leaving or being removed! Probably BB will tell him to do something (anything it won't matter what it is) and he'll kick off. As I understand Big Brothers Little Brother is going out after the watershed this time rather than 6pm. I reckon thats purley down to Bez, if they tried to air it pre watershed they would constantly be bleeping!
As for attractiveness I actually think Germaine is a handsome woman for her age (prepare for incoming scorn) ;-)
Not really sure Bez still has the capacity to go off on one... Too many rock n roll years for that lad, methinks.
I do think it'll be pretty comedy watching him go cold turkey on national tv tho...

Cheers, Angel05 - great minds think alike! :thumbsup:
Now I'll prove how sad I really am:
Bez - member of Happy Mondays - always 'somewhat' unpredictable;
Brigitte - Swedish(?) actress who was married to Sylvester Stallone, and played title role in fantasy film "Red Sonja";
John - eccentric racing pundit;
Caprice - model of some sort;
Germaine - feminist writer;
Kenzie - apparently in boyband Blazin' Squad;
Jeremy - actor from "Hollyoaks", "Holby City"(?) - was engaged to Rachel Stevens;
Lisa - DJ - used to have a show on Radio 1.
Now how about a job as Sheffield Forum's Showbiz Correspondent?! :D

Thought he was just dragged on stage during one of their video's... didnt know he was actually part of the group... :?

Pauline BHG 07-01-2005, 22:21 I'm not particularly a fan of <or even know much about!!> any of the people in there, but it's SUCH a mad mixture, I think it could be fun to watch !!
Bez & Brigitte will surely be the entertainment - mentallists, but seem funny.
I'm not bothered who wins <so far, tho I DO get obsessed wi these shows...........> but I can't actually imagine ANY of them managing a full 18 days.........
OMG - i was REALLY shocked when I saw Caprice :O I can't believe how old/bad she looks !!!!! No I know she's not a minger FGS, but I thought she'd look as stunning as she does in her <airbrushed i'll now assume> piccies.... I guess ive just not seen her on TV for a while, didnt realise she was so plastic looking :S

Yeah, he was part of the group, but no-one really knew what he did! He was like a lucky mascot??!
and Germaine Greer - I never could stand the woman. Real loudmouth

mmm this is embarrasing but i dont no what "happy mondays" is. When was it aired- what year?
thanks
Pauline BHG 07-01-2005, 22:35 Happy Mondays were a HUGE band in the 90s <and late 80s ??> Indie - madchester stuff. You must have heard of Shaun Ryder ? he was the singer - he got Bez onstage early in the bands' career, and he did a daft dance. He was then part of the group, and he DJs too.
As youre such a young un that you dont remember HappyMondays (!!!!!! I feel old) you'll prob know Rowetta off X-Factor - she was their backing singer
Im off to the bookies tommorrow to put a tenner on John to win! the man is mad and is a surefire winner!!!:clap: :clap: :clap:

Like I said earlier, I think it'd be really funny if Bez won, from what I remember of him in the Mondays. But I'm certain he'll walk. I still can't quite believe he's in there in the first place - perhaps Rowetta talked him into it .....
but it would be NICE if Jeremy won. He seems a really lovely guy who's been through some rough times recently. I've always liked him, ever since he was the only thing worth tuning into "Hollyoaks" for - when it was still just about watchable.

Aah right! so thats where he's from - Holby! I wondered where they'd dug him up.
Mark my words the little git from Blazin Squad will be one of the first to leave - if not THE first.

Whadddyaknow???? We disagree on something. Bez RULES! The Mondays RULED!! Bez to win!!
NO, NO, NO! Wait !!!!
I like Bez, he's a top bloke. He's just not my favourite to win thats all. I love the Happy Mondays too.

Wow! Nice one. You ain't so bad I suppose, at a pinch. :thumbsup:
Not sure who I want to win...
Am suprised tho about Jezza Edwards... He always came across in interviews and the like as being a bit up his own arse. And to be honest, he used to make me feel a bit sick. But not so much now. I hope I'm not developing a crush on him!
Kenzie... Hmmm... Wondering how long he can continue to sound "street", before he reverts to a, no doubt, home counties accent. I mean, drinking white wine? Not very "garage" is it?! :suspect:
Felt a bit sorry for Caprice as John was laying into her last night, although is it just me, or did she seem to be revelling in the fact all the attention was on her? I think others noticed this, cause Lisa (she of the sex appeal and the hold over men!) and Brigette looked a little put out by this!

Well to be fair if your username reflects when you were born then I am not suprised! Happy Mondays and the madchester sceen was late 80's/ early 90's
As for Jons speech last night - he is trying to get himself booted out first don't forget........

Hmmm... If that's the case, then it begs the question "Why?"
Why go on it if you want to leave before you've even got in there? It's not as if he's been forced in...
Methinks that he knows he has a personality that many would find disagreeable and therefore says, very loudly, that he wants to be first out to save face if he is.
I feel he protests too much... :suspect:

O you're right, its Ahmed all over again and he probably thinks that like Ahmed by saying he wants to get booted out and using this pretext to be himself shall we say, he'll stay in longer :suspect:
Didn't need to see him in his pants last night though - and I was eating at the time!
Pauline BHG 08-01-2005, 16:10 Yeah - that's what I thought. There are always a few people who play the *I want to be first out* card. Either maybe coz they feel it saves face if they ARE first out, or because it's been proven a few times in the past that if you want out, the people will keep you IN !
They must've known who was goung in, as Germaine said summat to Caprice about *oh i wondered if you'd be here after this afternoon* <or summat similar !> Also, when someone <jeremy ?> was being searched, the security bloke muttered *its just for the cameras*. What a farce ! hahahahahah
Still ended up watching the live show til 2:15am though....
John is just king rude cheeky bugger, and he IS annoying, but he is making me laugh, not as much as the reactions on peoples faces to his comments !!
Oh Kenzie - pull yer bloody trousers up mate. What a mess....
Good grief, where have some of you been? You don't need to be old to know who germaine greer is or who the Happy Mondays were (whether you're into dance or indie). Shaun Ryder anyone?
Bez to win, Jeremy's just there for the lasses :)
Oh, Caprice, she looks *awful*. Nowt against peeps having surgery, but it's supposed to make you look better. As someone said, she looks like a Barbie doll. Horrible. She'll end up like donatella versace who is surely more plastic than human being.
Bez to do it for the indie kids.
Who saw John eating his bogies!!!! UUUUURGH!!!:gag: :gag:
Ha Ha Ha!:hihi:
Who is that annoying little kid who tries to talk tough?

He's from Blazin' Squad . . . who are v.e.r.y. t.o.u.g.h. a.n.d. v.e.r.y. s.t.r.e.e.t. . . . like to see em spend a weekend down pitsmoor, they'll teach em the ways of the Jedi alright.
Pauline BHG 10-01-2005, 08:55 Aye - all his *street* talk is just laughable considering when I look at him I just see *garreth gates* !!! Yeah John is rude, but theyve all learned to take his comments wi a pinch of salt, and laugh it off/ignore him. Kenzies outburst, threatening to *punch Johns face in* <or words along those lines> just makes him out to be the prize chav that he is. Keep the wine away from the kiddie, and someone pull his goddam troosers up !!!
Good show though :-D
fleecemeece 10-01-2005, 11:56 Why was John throwing a strop last night about that bottle of milk? I missed it as was watching some old crap with Wesley Snipes in on the other side.
Pauline BHG 10-01-2005, 22:12 He says it was in his contract that he'd get £3 worth of groceries each day. Because they failed part of the task, they only got part of the shopping. What an arse he is ! im still laughing though !
What the hell is that FREEEEAKK they put in there tonight ????????????
:-O
I've been an on/off viewer of BB for the past few years, in a take it or leave it kind of way. But I have to say, tonight's edition had me completely hooked. John is horrible horrible horrible, but he made the whole programme so interesting. I loved BB's gimmick of giving the other's diet coke and him tomato juice...priceless!
The new 'freak' is Sylvester Stallone's Mum. Can't help but feel the addition of her will spoil it a bit now though. :(
fleecemeece 11-01-2005, 15:36 I don't know, I think Mrs S will be a good laugh, seems like she doesn't even know what Big Brother is. Reckon tonight will be a good one what with Germaine leaving etc. and I'll be out so will miss it :(
Angel and I were watching tonight and it was noticed (by Angel who promptly broke into fits of laughter) that Mrs S looks not unlike a troll doll. :lol: :lol: :lol:
She looks utterly horrendous! I kinda feel sorry for Bridgette though cos Big Bro has crossed the line I think. They've dug up her past and IMO that's completely unfair. :(
Sad as I am to admit it I have seen it for the last three nights :o ... gets kinda addictive when you start watching it .
On what I've seen so far I'd go for Bridget to win; I felt a bit sorry for her when her ex-mother in law ( yeah the woman of a thousand facelifts) was brought into the house. Overall I think she is a pretty interesting character .
Wasnt to fussed to see Germaine Greer go didnt seem to add a great deal to the show....
Pauline BHG 12-01-2005, 13:57 Aye - Germaine left coz Big Brother is a *bully* !!!! I do sometimes wonder if these nincompoops actually KNOW what the show is about ! Im thinking John & Germaine didnt read their briefs before they went in...... Im really really enjoying the show. I like Bridgette too, and I hope she doesnt leave. I just cant believe that Mrs Stallone is human :O
Pity he didn't burn the *&^&*!%$ house down as well.
bobsyouruncle 12-01-2005, 16:48 i totally agree, wot a mardy get, just cos they nicked his diet coke!!
if my kids got monk on cos they had thier drink nicked, theyd get a skutch!!
(but then again i'd probably get arrested for child abuse and my kids wud divorce me!!)
