Hi

Does anyone know if the CC dental hospital do checkups as well as emergency treatment? I could do with one but am pretty petrified having had some painful unnecessary work done by a thieving dentist wanting pennies for his retirement fund and would like an opinion on whether I need anything doing from someone who won't say I do just so they can pay for their holiday. (If I needed any work doing I would then run swiftly to another dentist!).

Hi i used to work there! i think they do do check ups and treatment like fillings and scales and polishes that aren't an emergency on the condition you are not registered with an NHS dentist. although the downside to this is that they won't actually be qualified but prob about 3 yrs into a 6 yr degree. It can't hurt (excuse the pun) to go into the reception on the right as you go through the main double doors and just ask for some further advice, everyone is really nice down there.
