Thanks Hecate, didn't think it was as simple as that. It only appears to work when you go over a certain number of text lines. I guess that's because it allows you to post a huge lump of programming code in a post and have scrolling, rather than have a post take up a lot of space. Maybe the administrator sets the maximum number of lines allowed in a code box, hence the maximum size of the box, after which a scroll bar will be used? |
