can anyone remember living here before it was demolished about 4 years ago?

If it was as bad as Scarsdale street is now its a good job its demolished.
Was East street where the new junior school is now?

scarsdale street ran off victoria street which was sittuated at the top of east street and i think you are correct the new school is bieng built on east st

i remember walking past it and sometimes down it between 88 and 96 if that helps.

The new school is finished now, it opened last term. The old one is demolished now and i believe houses are going on the land.

The new school is infant and Junior.

Dinnington comp is still up and running.

Eee I was brought up on East Street!
Many happy memories:rolleyes:

Pity they had to knock my old J&I school down though, it was a lovely building.

Anybody else from Dinnington?

Dinnington Born and bred!!
Dinno Junior from 84-87 and loved it .
Lived on the avenues then Throapham.
Tried to avoid East Street and Laughton Common as much as possible!!

east st is that near the hump back bridge coming from thurcroft
