For some reason I am getting really into this. I think it is because this year there is a normal size 12 girl, Louise, in the final.

Yeah ive been watching it for weeks now. Yeah Xsunshinex I think the girl called Cherice was from Sheffield, but she got booted off a few weeks back now.
I liked Stephanie, but after her attitude towards Rebecca last week then Im glad she got booted.

I think Louise is the most stunning out of the 3, but think Rebecca deserves to win, she's put the most into it and takes an amazing picture! Going to miss it, roll on America's Next Top Model!

I don't know about this series cos I haven't been watching it - but last year my friend Lucy was in it & she's from Sheffield (although she's moved down to London now for her career) that might be who you're thinking of? :)

Yes, Sherece was from Sheffield. She got voted oout a few weeks ago.

I remember Lucy from last year - she seemed really sweet. Quite an unusual look though, which I think is why she got kicked out.

This year I think Louise is the most visually stunning. Her attitude stunk earlier on, but she seems to have calmed down now and I think she will win - the judges like it when the contestants take notice of what they say. I knew Louise was bigger than the others, but didn't realise she was size 12! That's fantastic - especially as the judges haven't commented on her weight at all.

I was amazed at how many of the contestants this year were very ordinary looking - like Rebecca, Stefanie and Lucy. They wouldn't stand out to me in a crowd as being especially beautiful - although often their pictures were good, which shows what good make-up and lighting can do for you!

What did you think of the final? I was very surprised at the outcome. From the critiques given to the final three after their photoshoot I felt sure Lauren would be eliminated and was shocked that it was Rebecca who went. I felt in the end choosing Lauren was a bit of a cop out. When they were discussing hers and Louise's photographs they made much more positive remarks about Louise than Lauren - indeed apart from Lauren's swimsuit shot they seemed to hate all her pictures - yet she won :confused:

That photographer summed up everything that's wrong with fashion - I could have killed her when she was describing Louise as "overweight, way overweight", and then telling her there was no way she could use a full length shot of her because she really needs to lose weight. She a frigging size 12 FFS - that's not overweight!! I hope Louise sticks at it, and doesn't feel too pressured to change her body shape.

Ive been watching it too - really enjoyed it actually.

I could not see why Stephanie was in it for so long and I really wanted Louise to win - she was stunning.

I hope she goes on to be really successful and it makes me sick that she was call 'way to fat' when she is only a size 12.

I was rooting for Louise all the way through and her photos were by far the best throughout. If the final was judged just on photos she should have won. In all honesty I think Lauren won because she was more commercial and will likely get more work than Louise. A sad thing to say, but are there any top models who are a size 12 that she is? I dont think so.

I think in the end the judges thought it would make them look good to promote a size 12 model (which amazingly is treated as a plus size in the world of fashion!), but that they couldn't let her win because her size would get in the way of a lot of work - and at the end of the day I suppose they are looking for someone who can be incredibly successful (though they haven't achieved that so far) rather than change the world of modelling.

I was having a read on the Living TV forum the other day, and a few posters mentioned that since the series ended Louise has slimmed down to a size 8 :(
