Can you suggest a short verse to add to a card to send condolences to a colleague who has lost his wife to cancer after a long illness?

This is always a difficult thing to decide.....

There is a very good book called, I seem to remember, 'All in the end is Harvest' which has some readings and such in it.

Sorry I can't get inside your colleague's mind mitzi, but when my mum died part of my tribute to her was worded something like........

"And when we raise our eyes to heaven , a new star shall gleam down upon us tonight - and for evermore."

I hope he finds the right words to express his grief at this time.
