anyone who used to live on the flats about forty years ago
would remember playing with scotch arrows on the grass just down from the concrete play ground in front of the target pub
would love to chat with them maybe go and have a game of kick can in our plimsoles he he my kids think designer clothes trainers and games consoles were always around theyve never heard of the army stores or hand me downs or queing for a token for free dinners.and my mother thought i was spoilt when my dad bought me my first pair of long trousers and got the barber to give me a short back and sides and a square neck instead of the basin cut
