Hi there, I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to possible floodlit (or even indoor) training facilities for a Sunday League team in Sheffield (we need enough to house 8 aside really).

So far I have tried so many places and seem to be getting nowhere. Honestly, this government / council should be promoting grass roots football and sport, even subsidising it, I have a team which has money to pay but cannot find anywhere aagghhh I am pulling my hair out…..

Can anyone offer any suggestions although so far we have tried….

Sheffield United Acadamy – nothing available

Goodwin (they have offered us a 3rd of a pitch which we have accepted but this is not going to be big enough and may mean we have to tell squad players they cant play for us any more which we don’t want to do)

Abbeydale sports – nothing available

Concord – other end of town too far away

Olive Grove - nothing available

Help….!!!!

Try Springs Leisure Centre, East Bank Rd. Sheffield S2
They've just sent me an advert for their floodlit training facilities - astro turf.
They have 45 minute sessions available between 5.15 & 9.45
