They better not mess up the buses here in Stannington, our bus services suck enough already.

The more they mess the buses up, the happier I am to walk in or drive :hihi:

(actually only costs me 20p more per day than bus fares to park in town)

Thats what I was thinking, I thought they scrapped it and combined it into one service

I listed the service 49a as is was shown on the vosa site so until full details are known it could reappear as a new version on the current 49!!. I Knew that changes to the OLD terrier 49a service all the herdings side of the service became plain old 49. Operators can swap and change commercial routes/service numbers as they wish for a fee payable to the vosa( a government agency). It does not matter to them that it can confuse us passengers/customers!!!!

The 49A runs every 15 minutes from Herdings to City Centre... Running through Meersbrook, Highfield, London road, Eyre St, Interchange, Arundel Gate and back via Charter Row, Moorfoot, Ellis Way and London Rd.

Looks like it won't be too long before the 25A to Bradway disappears altogether - yet another reduction planned for this service. I've emailed SYPTE to express my displeasure as its a real pain having to trek down to Pond Street for the 53 when I'm full of beer on West Street! Previously I could just about manage to get to the Peace Gardens without bouncing off too many walls, but Pond Street - forget it.

Ah well, at least I'm keeping the taxi drivers busy.
