To share a nice big terraced house with myself, my dog and another lodger. I own the house, so it's well looked after.
£325 a month includes all bills.
Fully furnished double room. The room has a double divan bed with two drawers, wardrobe with hanging and shelving, chest of drawers, a small computer desk, central heating radiator and a new carpet. There is a TV aerial point and a cable broadband point. A large window with blind and and heavy curtains faces a quiet street.
Broadband internet is provided by Virgin, with up to 2Mb download speed and no download limit. This is free of charge.
There is a dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge/freezer, gas cooker and other mod cons in the shared offshot kitchen and attached dining room. There is a shared lounge looking out over the garden with sofabed, chairs, bureau and hifi/record player. The shared bathroom has a mirrored cabinet and an electric shower over the bath. The fully enclosed garden is mostly lawn with flowerbeds and a patio area with patio furniture.
The house is very conveniently located for bus services, and is 7 minutes stroll from Leppings Lane tram stop and the entrance to Hillsborough Park. Hillsborough Leisure Centre and shops are a short walk away. There are many and varied takeaways within 5-10 minutes walk.
I'm a 30 year old female professional Physicist. I enjoy a good sociable chat and a pint of real ale, and I'm a big movie addict. My present lodger is a mid-30s male computer programmer who works during the day. He is very quiet but friendly and enjoys gaming. My dog is a small/medium sized sandy coloured Labrador cross. He is friendly, playful and well behaved.
I'm looking for someone who is friendly and chilled out, and who will be happy to keep the house reasonably clean and tidy. Pets and/or smokers will be considered. Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the house, but smoking in the garden is fine. Pets should be ok in the house, with the exception of cats (because of allergies), provided they get on with my dog.
The room is available immediately, and I can take viewings almost any time.
