Hi
My husband who is not used to public speaking has to make a speech at my daughter's wedding soon and is terrified. Does anyone know any coach who could help with a couple of lessons?
Thanks

hiya
i sympathise with your husband - i was in the same position this time last year! I was unable to find a speech coach but I did have hypnotherapy (although I was sceptical!) but it did work and did give me the confidence to go on stage in front of 700+ people!

I was the best man at a mates wedding a few years back. Was told that there weren't to be any speeches.
It wasn't a big gathering but I only knew about 10% of the people there. Got to the do, and was told by the Brides Father that I should have been told that the speeches were back on.
I was shaking and it wasn't made any better when the DJ came over with a radio mike, which not realising that it was turned on I plonked down onto the table. It definately got peoples attention.
Got half way through the speach when I saw the Groom and the Brides Father laughing. I then realised that if the speeches where back on I wouldn't be doing the first.
I have declared that I will never do it again.
