Yep, up past the Farfield Pub, and up the hill.

It's a pretty good track too.

parkwood karting is very good but pfi karting is the best kart track i've ever been to. http://www.tvkc-pfi.co.uk
It's not cheap but they do a 100 lap endurance at £160 per kart. (i won a trophy:) ) It's a fair drive but well worth it.

yeah its open to everyone, but you'll find cos of the price it's mostly works outings. quite a few pro's go there too to put a few laps in. you'll need at least 2 to a team cos there has to be a minimum of 7 driver changes. I'll put £80 up for a share of the ride :)

I did like this track :) Nice downhill straight into a tight hairpin. They had one dodgy cart tho where the accelerator was at an angle making it difficult to use properly.....that's my excuse as to why I lost and I'm sticking to it :hihi:

This one isn't in Sheffield but its not far away (in notts)

www.lkqc.com

I have been here loads and always have a great time. The new 270cc Karts that they recently got go like stink.

they sound fun 270cc - but with the track been indoor do they have to be speed restricted?

That does look like a nice circuit. Do they do any other formats (different differnces, Grand Prix's, Endurance etc? - although I reckon 100 laps is probably endurance!)

It's a little closer than Ancaster Kart Racing (http://www.ancasterkarting.co.uk/), where I've been several times, and can also thoroughly recommend. Worth the drive down there.

Trust me, once you've had a go at outdoor Karting round a decent track with decent karts you'll never look at indoor again.

The top speeds are restricted, but you can still get up to about 50mph down the straight.

They used to have 200cc Honda Biz karts and you can definitly tell the difference in speed in these new ones.

They are apparently the fastest indoor karts in the UK.

If m^rk gets back to you i wouldn't mind a share of the driving as well if you could get 3 or 4 people as we don't all have high paying jobs!:hihi:
