Hi all, before the sarcastic and abusive members show their faces as I'm sure they will...

Could someone please help me out, I signed up to paypal last week and my bank transactions followed yesterday so I added funds yesterday but this is going to take 7-9 days, without taking into account the bank holiday, I am watching an item on ebay but I don't want (-) feedback if I have to delay the payment, is there a way in which I can make a debit card payt into my paypal account which will inevitably go straight in, I don't have and don't wish to have a credit card so that's not an option.

Thanks guys n gals

No- I'm sorry, but the authentication process for a new Paypal account does take that sort of time.

The best thing I can suggest is paying cash to someone else with a Paypal account so that they can pay for your lot, or contacting your seller and making them aware that the hold up is genuine and hoping that they are OK with how long it takes.

EDIT- for anyone who doesn't have an existing Paypal account. Set up your account with plenty of time to spare before bidding on an item that you're planning on paying for with a Paypal account. The time it takes to set up a new Paypal account is longer than the time you have to pay for an item you've already bought.
