Creme Eggs...

How do you eat yours?

I like to lick/suck the fondant out from the centre then eat the Chocolate shell... mmm mmm mmm Yummy! :razz:

I scoop out the middle with a teaspoon then eat the shell!

I used to do it that way when i was younger lol got in a right ole sticky state :roll: I didnt like real eggs so used to pretend with a creme egg... even crack the top off with a knife just like my dad did with his real boiled egg :bigsmile: hehehe!

I do the same as you Angel. I bite the top off then get my tongue in and clean out the centre. It's the ONLY way to do it!!

Two bites. First the top, then the rest. I've always done it this way as far as I can remember. :)

Creme eggs are to put it mildly vile, sickly and don't taste nice unless you like neat sugar.
I had a g/f once who went on a diet after christmas like plenty of people do but then managed to put all the weight back on eating the nasty things. I got grumbled at for not monitoring how much she ate and drank over christmas, then more grumbles because I wouldn't join her on her diet regime. Then she grumbled that I didn't buy her an easter egg and of course some creme eggs and then of course the grumble that I shouldn't of let her eat so many eggs, she then went back on her diet. I was feeling slightly cheesed off by this point and so a friend of mine who worked were creme eggs are made very kindly provided me with a carrier bag half full of the things which I presented to my g/f saying it was to say well done on her strong willed self control...... She didn't find it even slightly amusing!!

I'm not a fan of the things. Too sickly and too sticky.

I cannot stand them either, not a fan of chocolate at the best of times though.

I can eat a `fruit pastel` without chewing though :clap:

damn straight it is! :D although doing that in public can get you some weird looks, especially if you do weird/rude expressions whilst your licking the egg out... lol

also, if you freeze them then see how much chocolate you can eat off before you have to eat the umm, whatever the middle stuff is :P

Creme eggs make me feel ill, though I can eat the shell if someone removes the filling for me.

Agree with Angel and FF, bite off the top the lick the insides out, before eating the chocolate shell. :D

I scoop out the inside with crisps... salt n vinegar is my fave. sweet and savoury together mmmmmm!!

Well as previously posted, I s l o w l y peel off the outer layer and then.... I LICK it to death!

It takes for ever but they sure do last longer :wink:

I just had one and I still eat it the same.

Mmmmm, I love these things...Although they get smaller every year! They used to be a decent size...now I have to get two to feel like I have had one!!!

Take of the top of the egg...suck as much of the middle out as I can (depending on if there are any air pockets!)...If the thing collapses with the sucking, in it all goes and then I melt it away (no biting)...If I manage to keep getting the gooey bits out, keep going until it's empty then melt the shell...Mmmm off to the shops!

They are addictive - but can someone tell cadburys to make them bigger please!!!

Bite it in half sideways, i.e. one half of the egg,try and peel off one layer of the choccie and eat that leaving the white, then swirl my tongue around the white and yellow until it's all gone, then eat the other half of the empty choccie shell.

But if i'm in a hurry all in one go! :D

Here's a top tip.

Unwrap a cream egg. nestle it into the cleft of your bare botty & sit on it till it melts.

Then tell your nearest & dearest your piles have burst :hihi:

Is it me, or does there seem to be a bit of a male/female split as to methodology. Do more women seem to stick their tongue in and lick out the creme, whereas are men more likely to down it in one?

I don't eat them at all, poor quality vegetable fat polluted 'chocolate' filled with sickeningly sweet goo, disgusting things.

I used to give any I was unfortunate enough to receive to my siblings now I save em for my nephews & nieces, though luckily by now most people have got the message and don't give me creme eggs or any other substandard cadbury's muck.

Since reading this thread last weekish, I have eaten 5 creme eggs :o

I hardly ever eat chocalate (that's a lie) but since seeing this I just had to buy a handful of creme eggs!! :D

my husband just stuffs the hole egg in his mouth :o

I put mine in the fridge for about a day, then make sure I have a big glass of water with it. It's so sickly, I can usually only manage half!

I generally eat mine with a salad and boiled new potatoes.

I bite of the top, scoop out the cream with my tongue then shove the rest of the chocolate shell into my gob, almost gagging.

It gets a bit sticky and messy but I try to eat all of the chocolate first and save the creamy stuff till last:lol:

i like to wigh up the alternatives whey hey. havent had one for years but as a kid i'd bite the top off - scoop the middle then the rest of the 'shell' - chocolate all over me teeth and sticky fingers.

I'm at work at the moment, and there are people here from Cadburys doing a promo, giving out free creme eggs. Only had one so far, trying not to eat too much junk and sweets, you know
