What record did they play on the stroke of midnight New Years Eve, where were you and what would you have like played? obviously this only really applies to people that were out! unless you were at home and had a party of course

I was at Tribal Gathering in Manchester, they played Underworld, 'born slippy' but i would have liked to have heard Frankie Knuckles 'your love'

I was too drunk to remember what record they had on at midnight!

The last song I could remember was a Queen song 'We will rock you", I think it was about 11 PM

I think you know whose songs I wanted played. :P

Peyton sang Auld Lang Syne live at Hed Kandi followed by some Celebrate tune followed by some other bird singing something followed by him singing Higher all while Mark Doyle jumped around like a loon.

I was then rather surprised to find myself talking to Dan from the last Big Brother about 3am

At Urban Gorilla, the monkeys theme was played. No one expected that really.

Hed Kandi was great but I was enjoying it more up until midnight - kinda lost the pace with the break for the live PA etc. Was still a good night tho although could have done with a few more classics.. Didn't help that no one knew when it was ending - depending on who you asked got told either 4 or 6???

i jus kinda had doubts, Hed Kandi nights are not very 'special' anymore but i will no doubt endeavour to go to the next one although if i miss that there's always hed kandi nights in bradford carlise wrexham etc etc

I know! A sing-along song at midnight; brilliant! In the state we were in we thought that every line was so relevant to urban gorilla too.
