ReginaldD 02-01-2005, 15:49 Hi, Santino's is a great place and recommend it for a birthday, had my 18th there a few years ago and everything went smoothly. The food is great and traditional Italian, the staff are friendly and it's an ideal location for going for drinks afterwards, champs, porter cottage etc. senwar 02-01-2005, 16:26 Yep, Santino's is a lovely place (best Calzone in Sheffield too!) Went there for my Xmas do for the first time for a few years, but it was as good as ever. karandak 02-01-2005, 18:54 Ive been a couple of times too, and can agree thats its very nice! Yummy food, garlic mushrooms and cheese yum! Good that you can take your own wine too, only charge to open it! rad 08-02-2006, 14:50 Going out for my birthday soon and was thinking either Santino's or Buon Cibo in Broomhill but never been to either. What are they like for veggies, what's their prices like - and does anyone know if either of them have a website? RozeePozee 08-02-2006, 16:07 Santinos is friendly with ENORMOUS portions and I'm not a vegetarian but I had the veggie version of their pancakes and they were delicious. Some nights is BYO so worth checking if you're on a budget. The other place in Broomhill I went a long time ago but I remember that was pretty good too (although obviously not so good I went back...? But there's an awful lot of choice in Sheff for restaurants) rad 10-02-2006, 12:23 In Greedy Cow it says santino's doesnt have a no smoking area - is that still the case? rad 27-02-2006, 22:06 Went to Santino's tonight. Really nice - good food, friendly staff. Only complaint was portions were too bit too big, but other than that was good. And nice to find somewhere whose veggie options extend beyond Margherita pizza and penne in tomato sauce... |
