Does anybody know a good rock night, anywhere, that won't be too daunting for non-rock fans? A one off night would do, but it would need to be the end of Feb/beginning of March.
Roxy's Monday Rock nights would have been perfect, but that's off the cards for obvious reasons!
Hi when you say rock night do you want heavy rock or do you want a bit of everything because there is a place in rotherham called saffu's which is open monday to saturday they have a rock night on 2nd thursday of the month and they have a goth night on the 3rd thursday of the month but dont quote me on them dates because I havent been in for a bit, also they have live bands on friday & saturday night and they stay open while 02:00am. If you want to know where it is then catch the 69 bus into rotherham and get off at the top of the high street you will see a night club on your right hand side walk across the road and you will see a pub called the linten tree walk pass that and the rock bar is just below, the pub use to be called the old monk but if you want another rock pub then if you go past the linten tree and turn right go up the hill to a pub called the high house and underneath that pub there is a classic rock bar times of opening I dont know but it would be open on a friday/saturday night I would think. Have fun
Thanks bigkev.
does anybody else have any more ideas?
When's the next 'Rebels' night at Classic Rock Bar?

Strix, the closest night to Roxys Monday Rock Night is Reservoir Rocks (every saturday at the Corporation) - they play a good selection of 80's/90's rock that shouldn't be too scary for the non-rockers in your party.
