we have just been to the travel agents to see about a holiday for next xmas, :wow: what an eye opener, have you seen the prices ???? £2000 for a weeks self catering in the costas, cheapest we got was £1840 all inc. in turkey but the weather is not that good, we are goig to tunisia in sept. 2 weeks all inc for £1400, i think we will have to put up with the cold in england!!! unless any one has a villa for rent ??? :heyhey:

The last two years I have booked direct with the holiday firms over the internet. Seems to work out a bit cheaper. I've never booked for chrimo though so I don't know how expensive it is at this time of year.

Has anyone ever booked a last minute holiday at xmas? I'm not bothered if we have to pack a bag and leave the next day, I'd just like to get away for a change. But it has to be cheap!

Ideally to a ski resort... anyone ever done it? Surely there must be the odd bargain?
