i thought it would go away but it hasnt its not even eased off! im on some sickness tablets but they just make me soo drowsy. im also wearing the travel bands 24/7 and if i eat one more ginger biscuit or ginger based product ill scream. I really have tried everything people have suggested but its still there its deppressing me now i just feel so down about it.

im also so tierd all the time.

ive been off work nearly three weeks with it now in the beggining i though ok it will have worn off a bit by then but it hasnt not in the slightest im dreading going back to work feeling like this. I know pregnancy is not an illness but when it takes all your energy to get out off bed or try to force some soup down your neck it feels like your ill. :(:( so please if anyone knows anything i can try other than the usual things and that dont involve medication that makes me drowsy id be eternally gratefull

thankyou i advance :help:

Make sure that you drink enough water (especially if you are actually vomiting)as dehydration makes it worse, and get enough sleep. Stay away from stress if possible.

I can't offer any magic solutions as I never found any myself. :(

Have a look here though http://www.mommyguide.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=54

Have you tried homeopathy? (ipecacuanha is meant to work)

try sparkling mineral water. You can also now but lemon and limes slices frozen from Tesco's for £1 a bag. Try popping some of them in.

*hugs for you*

sucks, dunnit? not sure what to say that could help other than to eat ice cream. you could try acupuncture or reflexology but i don't know whether they actually do anything or not. yoga or pilates might help a little with your energy levels, but again - don't know if they'd do anything.

you're bound to feel drained and tired if you're not getting enough energy from your food (which is likely if you're always feeling sick) - growing a baby takes a LOT of energy! have you tried frequent but very small healthy snacks (if you can eat them without being sick)? bananas, grapes, raisins, pears....if you can't cope with them, have you tried the unhealthy options? i found that the only things that i could eat without feeling sick were cake, coke, chocolate and ice cream. you have to get your energy from somewhere - and if you can't get the healthy stuff in because it makes you sick, you could try the bad stuff.

not sure what to say about the nausea - i never found a solution, and spent 8 months with plastic food bags (no holes, unlike carrier bags) folded up in m'pocket, ready for emergencies. i found that just knowing i could be sick if i needed to took the pressure off a bit and made me feel a little less queasy when eating. don't know if you're actually being sick, though.
