Geoff had'nt appeared when I was there, did he arrive??

Anyways I managed to get a few pics well 3 actually due to some people not wanting to be on them, which is understandable i suppose.

Oh yeah one final thing, who was that her name :| anyway she shall remain anonymous for now ;):mrgreen:

Great night during the time I was there, even took a mate of mine to the gathering and he said he enjoyed it too.

Great to put a face to the user ID's of the people on here, and again Moon my apologies for forgetting the pic of Richard Harris.

No one arm wrestled me thankfully, couldn't believe it when Richard (the mod) came down, didn't realise who he was until he introduced himself and then from his AVATAR I could see it was him.

Lets make the next one (as LouiseB mentioned) around November time, when hopefully peeps wont be on hols so much and the gathering could be a fuller one.

The food that Classic Rock put on was very nice, I enjoyed it (even went back twice). What was that beef thing? Was it in black bean sauce?

All in all and 'eventful' night and I'm glad I went!

It was rump steak in red wine sauce. Glad you liked it.

It was a great evening and I put my money on mystery lady being Chloe after all, having read all the threads there is no-one else it could have been, and I was expecting her...

Classic Rock did a fab spread, really attractive and lovely food.

And what an attractive bunch of people we looked too! Sheffield Forum - for the beautiful people.

Seriously, I didnt think we looked all that geeky really, considering how we met...:lol:

And it wasnt noisy and we had lots of space and actually some of our numbers were quite young, so that didnt seem to have been a problem in the end

I hope those that said they were coming but didnt make it in the end, are now feeling VERY ENVIOUS! :lol:

I was thinking sometime in October for our next one, does a Thursday still suit? It suits me.

Thursday's (at the mo) are OK with me. So long as we don't get anymore argumentative peeps who need a word from DaBouncer then I'm all for it. My bouncer time aint free :P :lol: 8) ;)

I don't mind hosting another meet if you wish. Better to pick October as the pub contract runs out at the start of November (don't know yet if we can get an extension to that). Of course I hope to see you all calling into the pub on a more regular basis now!!!:lol:

Hmm, the hair trick is easier do to than describe! It's Foxxx's trick originally so I don't want to steal the limelight! But it involves hanging your head upside down then rolling your hair tightly then kind of tucking it in at the top so then when you come back up you have an attractive beehive type thing going on! Works best with long hair.

I had only had one drink Kittykat cos I was driving. There were a few others driving too so they weren't drinking. So if you were to come to the next get together I'm sure there will be others who won't be drinking much. :D

I don't think anyone else took anymore pictures. I didn't think to take my camera either. The pictures have mostly got everyone in who went (except DB who managed to avoid being photographed!).

There was another girl there but I didn't get to speak to her so I'm not sure if she was with the forum or not! Hope I've not missed anyone!

I had a lovely time (and only one drink) and I think Sheffield Live and his g/f are under 18 (or close to it) so we werent all as old as me

Meant too but Thursdays are difficult as I have a fencing club to run.

I think about 22 said they were going originally (or something similar) so that's more than who turned up... I went with Foxxx so if I hadn't had anyone else to go with I probably would have been too shy to go on my own! So maybe a few members got last minute nerves?!

I know that Monica at Monica's Bar has agreed to run our meets there with some top nosh for free when she opens the BAR for good, once the work has been completed inside the bar etc...8)

Well I wouldn't like to sell out Classic Rock in aid of a new bar. Maybe we could do alternate meets in the 2 bars if thats agreeable???

Fine by me, but Monica doesn't seem to have reappeared on the Forum since her appearance to advertise her bar. Tis up to you guys and gals where you want to meet and when.....I'm happy to accomodate again if you wish.

Besides, I'm not happy that they erased the painted horses off the side of the building. What was the point of such blatant vandalism?? That's just one more quirky bit of Sheffield that's bit the dust. Bad people.

So a vote against Monica's even tho it's definitely closer to where I live...

still think that place is legally obliged to house any wild horses found in the area, thats why the stables have to be kept there.

I would like to go to the next event, but I want to know first whether it is non smoking, as I cannot breath where there is tobacco smoke. It would kill me if I had to gobble all that cancerous filth, so you see if smoking is allowed then I cannot go.
