Are any of them any good ? Which is best ? Since I'm not exactly God's Gift, should I leave my photo off my profile [that isnt me in the Avatar...] ?

All hints, tips and case studies appreciated

A mate of mine once tried it,met a couple of women but not much came of it. I think that was on www.match.com

If you like your ladies to have the common touch you could always try http://www.chav-dating.co.uk/ :hihi:

Hey thanks, got some sites to look at now. The chat-up lines on the chav site remind me of Little Britain, especially this one :

You are so gorgeous that I want to be reincarnated as your child so that I can breastfed by you forever..
====

Yeah but no but yeah but.... Bitty ! :P

This is going to sound like a lie but honestly one or two of my friends have tried this in the past though not me. Aparently if you have a pic on your profile it get's more responses and try to be as truthful as possible so people aren't disappointed if you should meet up. One female friend met her b/f on a site and has been with him now for a year, another female friend although not meeting the man of her dreams has had several nice evenings out and another female friend had the toy boys lining up to ask her for a date.
If you don't try it you'll never find out whether it'll work.

Theres an annoying little pop-up for a dating site called Meetic.com try it and whilst you're at it tell em to stop it with the pop-up's.

Yup, I'd obviously recommend Friends Reunited Dating (http://www.friendsreuniteddating.co.uk/) because I met my other half on there. :D but can also recommend the following:

Yahoo Personals (http://uk.personals.yahoo.com/)

Udate (http://www.udate.co.uk/)

Dating Direct (http://www.datingdirect.com)

I've used all of these in the last few years when I've been single and I've had results from all of them in one way or another. Some better than others obviously but it's worth a go. :)

As Wallbuilder says, it's best to be honest and you'll get more responses if you have a genuine picture of yourself up there. Telling lies on your profile is not a good idea because you'll only come unstuck if you get a date. Keep it simple and honest and you'll do fine. :)

Faceparty - is a free one- its not really dating but there are plenty of nice birds from this area willing to chat

http://www.faceparty.com/my_buddies.asp (http://)

a particular favorite is burninluv. If that is her real foto, you will not be disappointed guys. However, I feel her final musings on the meaning of life are a tad inappropriate in light of recent events.
:suspect:

If you PM your faceparty profile I will show you mine he he

I would go with Faceparty (http://www.faceparty.com) or Freinds reunited dating (http://www.friendsreuniteddating.co.uk/) I have met a few people on Faceparty and even though i'm not looking to date them it is a good site.

Hmmm! Faceparty struck me more for people who were just after a one night stand... The people on that site are mainly into camming an seeing how far they can get a person to go...

Fair enough if your looking for a bit of fun why not... but if your serious an looking for a true relationship then i found Friends Reunited Dating to be the best...

Although i was looking for a relationship (which i am lucky enough to say i found :D) I also made a lot of great friends along the way... Do keep your wits about you tho... there are some funny ones out there :suspect:

People also post their experiences on a dating diary system too... which is great as you dont feel so alone when a date goes wrong as it does on ocassions... I would recommend the site to anyone looking for Love or just Friendship...

Good Luck
