View Full Version : Creatine or protein supplements? ukstudent 31-12-2004, 14:10 Which? and what exactly are the differences? which is best? thanks pisces1 30-09-2010, 22:08 has anyone tried gold standard whey protein from optimum nutrition.. i currently use 90 plus but im not overly kean on it.. and before anyone mentions it..i'm aware that taste is secondary to results as with all these supplements evildrneil 30-09-2010, 22:22 If you're feeding either to your computer you won't be getting very good results either for you or your hardware... mafya 30-09-2010, 22:26 Which? and what exactly are the differences? which is best? thanks You can take both these at the same time. Protein is what muscles need to grow, creatine is a supplement that recharges your muscles quicker meaning you will be able to train harder for longer and lift more and will also bulk you up by retaining water. pisces1 30-09-2010, 22:34 If you're feeding either to your computer you won't be getting very good results either for you or your hardware... i had accessed this thread by doing a search on threads for supplements. It wasnt overly obvious or expected that it was in computer or tech chat.. perhaps a moderator could move this to a sports section of the forum perhaps.. so i guess like you. "i'm stating the obvious" AJ sheffield 30-09-2010, 22:46 Which? and what exactly are the differences? which is best? thanks I know quite a few people on creatine, the first thing I noticed is they are all paying around £20 for a gram of the stuff, they'll never learn. nicksix 30-09-2010, 23:11 Found creatine in tablet form once, sooo much easier than the powder form it normally comes in! I used to take both creatine and whey protein when training. Burnsie 11-10-2010, 15:00 1-are you training hard enough to need it? 2-really? 3-is your diet good? No point thinking you can eat crap then band down a shake at the gym and "tad-ar". 4-are you sure you are training hard enough? *Ryan* 11-11-2010, 09:24 Usually comes down to 70% diet and 30% what you do in the gym. Hard work tho. MJG SUPPS 27-10-2011, 09:58 I know quite a few people on creatine, the first thing I noticed is they are all paying around £20 for a gram of the stuff, they'll never learn. A:hihi: £20 a gram? My biggest gains was on that stuff but i cant afford it all the time so im having Reflex Instant Whey. MJG SUPPS 27-10-2011, 10:22 I strongly recommend Maximuscle if you can afford it regulary. My biggest gains was on that stuff but i cant afford it all the time so im having Reflex Instant Whey. If you are referring to Maximuscle Cyclone then yes this a great muscle building formula but like you say is rather expensive. I would Highly recommend to you USN Muscle Fuel Anabolic which is also a muscle building all-in-one formula but not as expensive. Check out the link below... http://mjg-supplements.co.uk/shop.asp?prd=All-In-Ones&catid=137&exp=1&pcat=0 QUiiNNY 27-10-2011, 10:32 I've seen USN anabolic fuel and heard good reviews from it also, i still find it a little expensive but never the less very good stuff, also too calorific for me i think as im wanting to loose abit of stomach fat whilst trying to retain size, and 150g servings in a 4k tub would only get you 26 shakes for 50 quid. |
