Now that elbow against Charlton is a case of violent conduct in my opinion.

It is violent conduct, have the FA not charged him with this? I know he got a straight red so he's out for three games at least, Ferguson has the second highest sending off record in the Premiership but I can't remember if it's Keane or Viera in first place but those make up the top three anyway.

I'm have no idea if he has been charged by the FA. There seems to be inconsistency where violent conduct is concerned and I was just stating that what Ferguson did was Violent conduct in my eyes.

Oh no doubt that it is and I agree that there is a bit of inconsistency when it is involved, as stated in another thread gamesmanship has been brought into the headlines too. Should the FA review a new disiplinary system in 2005?
