If not there are plenty of free programs around that will rip and encode it for you. Robbie Loving 31-12-2004, 13:52 i personaly use "music match juke box" which i find a decent program sccsux 31-12-2004, 14:11 Focussoft (http://www.focussoft.net/) do a decent freeware app that rips from CD to HD (uncompressed WAV, OGG, MP3 etc)! Details & download here (http://www.download.com/3000-2140-10227307.html?tag=lst-0-1). Seems to work well. ;-) mr craig 31-12-2004, 14:14 Well just having a look at WMP and there is a way of doing it using that. Also just downloaded CDex (thanx Penguin) and that works well too. Now i just need to figure out how to burn them onto a cd as mp3's........:suspect: Rich 31-12-2004, 16:10 Originally posted by mr craig Well just having a look at WMP and there is a way of doing it using that. Do i need to pay to get the full version???? Rich 31-12-2004, 16:49 Originally posted by mr craig Do i need to pay to get the full version???? Yes, Piracy is wrong, VERY wrong, it is also HIGHLY illegal. PENGUIN 31-12-2004, 17:06 If you have XP it has burning program installed by default, although I dont use it. Get all the folders of the albums you want to have on one CD, around 650MB or 700MB depending on the CD you have. Right click the folders/albums and goto "send to" then choose your cd-r or dvd writer, it should add an icon down near your clock now, now under tasks on the new window choose "write to CD" I think thats how it goes, let us know how you get on. mr craig 31-12-2004, 17:30 Well CDex seems to be the easiest way of ripping the tracks off the cd. Managed to get my hand on the full version of Nero 6.(for free):hihi: Thats looks pretty easy to make mp3 cd's with. Cyclone 31-12-2004, 19:12 the built in xp software is the easiest way to make mp3 cd's, they're just data cd's afterall. put in a blank cd, open the window for the cd drive through my computer. Drag and drop things onto it (the mp3 folders). Select the burn to cd task on the left. |
