Going through some old singles from the sixties in
my record collection lasty night.
Found "Needles and Pins" by The Searchers and that
took me right back to the moment I bought
the record after having it played for me by the staff in
a shop down Hillsborough.
It wasn't Wigfalls or Woolies but some independent
electrical shop located I think near the present Woolies.

Anyone recall the name of the shop ?

There was a well established electrical shop situated the town side of where Wololworth's stands today called Thomas's

Originally it sold electrical goods, hobbycraft kits, dinky cars etc.
and eventually records.

Maybe this the shop you are referring to?
