i am after a 2.5 to 3.5 hard drive adapter maybe the caddy type to usb can any one help .
i am desperate to rescue some files from a dead laptop .. either borrow or buy .. thx in advance ..

You could get another laptop whether off a mate or bought from a shop and returned at a later date lol and then put your old hard drive in that then access the files and either email them to yourself or store them on some sort of media.

Maplins do one, £15 or sommat like that

i want to pull out the 2.5 drive and drop it in the pc using an adapter .. up to 3.5 then i can moves all the files i need then format the drive and fix any errors ..

yes .. need 1 tonight .. i know its a long shot .. 99p on ebay 1.50 postage ... the essay has to be in for wed night ...
still has to edit it and tweak it ..

got 1 from direct computers the usb 2.5 caddy so panic over .. i have just added the drive and it is totally mashed .. looks like a long night ahead of me . :(
