What did everyone think? Personally I think some sloppy defending and mistakes cost us dear. And maybe one dodgy decision by the ref.

Are we missing Brunty or is it just me?

And did the ball cross the line on our disallowed goal?

That's what I reckon tbh. I know one player doesn't make a team etc but I do think we are going to miss Brunt's 30 yard screamers!

Doubt it, he can't play!

Can't believe the result today. I really thought that Wednesday deserved at least a point. Says a lot though, 3 shots on goal for Wolves!

I thought we played well - better than I expected. We had more creative play than Wolves by far, and more chances.

The 'goal' that wasn't didn't cross the line.

Your right the defence looks shakey but the midfield are not protecting the back four. I would break the bank to get two decent midfielders personally. Lunt & O'Brian is a combination to get relegated!! Neither can put a tackle in & all they seem to do is pull the opponents shirts. Scarey thought!

Two weekends do not a season make - after all, who really thinks Manchester United are in a relegation battle at the moment? :D

It's cause for great concern, but it's too soon to despair.

Sure they aren't trying to lift their opponents shirts

Don't worry, we've signed a big centre-half on loan from the Premiership for the season.

Can I just say, he's a big Sod.

Sodje is a good signing. I think we played much better this week, looked better attacking and the third goal only came because we were trying to get the equaliser. I'm happier than I was last week but still don't think we'll do much.

I agree - from what I've seen so far, and the lack of signings or progress on the team, I too don't think we'll do much this season.

Which begs the question - what will happen to Brian Laws?

Dave Allen set him targets - mid table last season, pushing for play offs this season. That was what we supporters were fed after Sturrock was sacked.

So given the fact that we have lost Bougherra, Brunt and Maclean since Laws came in, and I wouldn't be suprised if we lost Whelan and Simek before long, and we have signed nothing of note in place of those 3, will Laws be fired if we don't perform, or will Dave Allen change the targets again, and criticise those who question this as 'living in the past' or 'living with unrealistic targets' like he usually does.

It's unpredictable isn't it really.

It's obvious that BL is getting tired of things that are going on.

He'll be gone by Christmas I reckon.

Reading have agreed a fee with Sheffield Wednesday for defender Sam Sodje.
Sodje is set to join the Owls this week.
