Apparently the lovely Sophie Ellis-Bextor is doing a 'secret' intimate gig in Sheffield next Wednesday.

Does anybody know where it's being held, or how I can get a ticket?

It's some sort of Sony Ericsson bash and tickets are only available to Sony ericsson Staff, competion winners and reps.

Sophie was on stage for about an hour or so. Did all hits (Groovejet, Take me Home, Murder on the Dancefloor, Mixed Up world etc), stuff from her new album and a very, very good cover of David Bowie's "Let's Dance".

It going to be aired on Hallam FM at somepoint in the near future.

With all these local naff indie bands, It's great that somebody is still flying the flag for pop music

I'm seeing her in Newcastle in October anyway, so really looking forward to that!
