i have just started a new hobby collecting mamod steam engines and need to know which soldering iron is the best for soldering a brass pipe to a copper boiler any ideas please also i am interested in buying any spare parts for any mamod steam engine thanks

might be wrong but not sure you get enough heat with a soldering iron.Me personally i would use oxy/acetylene brazing torch and silver solder them together using a sif flux
