What kind of a year did you have in 2004?

Did anything special happen or perhaps something unusual or sad?

Do you have any regrets about 2004?

It's been a landmark year for me. It kind of changed my outlook on life, or at least made me more aware of it.

Looking forward to 2005 now more than ever.

2004 gave me a new lease of life as at the begining of it I was given the all clear from cancer.

The experience changed my whole outlook on life and hey if I don't get any cleaning done for the whole of the Xmas school hols so what. I spend every minute that I can with my kids now. It certainly puts things into perspective.

2004 was just a general year for me

Fairly uneventful, just plodded on with A-level stuff.

Next year however will probably be the most important of my life :(

Loved and hated my job simultaniously. Bought a house. Seen my lovely son progress into a fine young man. Had a middle-of-the-road holiday ( Lesvos ) Put on even more weight! Resolve to TRY and lose some next year. Helped form a community group to initially tackle anti-social behaviour and have been successful in securing a £10'000 grant.

Hope next year is relatively stress-free and hope both myself and my family are healthy.

Its been a mixed year really..

I moved out of my parents house after months of thinking and hesitation.. Since then I've really had the best time of my life socially, met some great people on here etc..

Physically, I've lost a fair bit of weight which has given me more confidence in myself

Mentally, well we best not go there..

So for 2005

- Pass my exams (in Jan)
- Carry on DJing :D
- Save up for a new car
- Have a long holiday
- Smack Limpetboy :D

And whatever else comes my way..

2004 has been pretty good! I have made lots of new friends, a few from here (they know who they are and how much they mean to me), started a new job which I think is going to be good and fell completely in love.

I have a feeling 2005 is going to be amazing.

Best wishes and luck to all on the Forum for 2005

Love

I got a great job, ( working for Bridge Employment as an employment worker)

I managed to overcome a great personal difficulty( through counselling and the support of my work colleagues
I learnt how to be assertive and what that really means

I sold my house( STC) and am waiting to move to a new area( Crookes) from Meersbrook where I have lived for nearly 20 years.
I have managed ( not too successfully) to get through another year of looking after my family( one of my kids has epilepsy and Aspergers so life is not easy)

So here is to 2005.

A happy new Year to all Forum Members

2004 was pretty business as usual for me, only really noteable things I've done are start Karate lessons again after 10 years, and applied for a provisional driving license.

Weird year for me.

Saw my (now ex) partner move in in Feb and out again in October!

Got a new job

Went back to college

Finally got a diagnosis for my son

Had many ups and downs in between.

Not been the best of years but hey, another one's right round the corner!!
