Does anybody know anyone who has returned safely or is still missing?
I know somebody who was intending to be in Thailand for Christmas, but don't know any contact details for him, and wouldn't dare to call his family if I had their number. They have enough to deal with just now.
Is anybody else in the same boat?
Dunno if it's a coincidence, but I've just had an e-mail :clap:

I am in the same position Strix.This person went to Phuket on 21 Dec for 14 nights.I go to pubs trying to find someone who might have contact with him,but have not seen anyone yet.Knowing this person he will have stayed in Thailand to help if possible,all I can do is wait and hope.

It's hard not knowing, but I didn't want to clutter up the hopital website searching for a name, when I may be stopping family from accessing info. Looked on BBC and E-mailed his company sales enquiries line to ask if anybody had heard. He answered me direct. Thank God.

I am delighted for you Strix, My pals website is under construction so no help there.
Can you post any details? Perhaps another forumer can help? Maybe they have family who have heard?

I have thought about this but I would rather not do it that way.
We are not close mates,it is one of those things we go to the same place once a week and have a drink together,nothing is ever arranged and apart from that have no other contact.

Thanks everyone, text message received yesterday.He is safe and well,He had gone on a trip and luckily missed it all. He should be back in Sheffield on Tuesday.
