I have experienced loss or blockage of some images on my laptop,
instead of picture, just quicktime symbol with big ?, can anyone help me wit this please!!!:help:

You need to check what program is set to open that type of image file.
It looks like it has been set to use Quicktime.

You need to know the image file type ... JPEG, GIF, BMP etc.
Then go:

Start > Control Panel > Folder Options

Select the tab for 'File Types'
Scroll down the list of File Types and select the extention (JPEG etc.) of your problem images.

Under the list you will now see the program allocated to open that type of file and a 'Change' button for use if necessary.

Thanks,but i did that as first troubleshoot and reset them back to default with Change button, they were all set to quicktime plugin, but no better. Could it be flash player that needs reinstalling, do you think ? x

I have no idea!! ha ha. but its things like my avatar on yahoo mal and some of adverts on ebay site, and some basic online games that cant see.
