With me it's cheese, has to be.

If there's no cheese in the house then it's butter.

If there's neither then I'll go up to the shop and get some cheese :P

anchovies, mashed up with lemon butter for a treat - otherwise cheese, cheese and more cheese.

Vegemite (when drunk)
Cheese (when sober)
Worcester Sauce and Cheese (when bored)

Or dry toast (when ill)

Has anyone ever attemted to make their own toast pizza? I've done it a few times and am getting rather good at it now! Tomato puree, cheese and onion or whatever I can find in the house! normally after a night out, come home merry and turn into Jamie Oliver desperate for any food!:D

Tesco/Safeway mixed fruit jam. You know, the seedless, cheap extra value stuff. It's great for spreading on toast. :D

Also known to be on my toast is:

Beans and/or bacon and/or sausage
Cheese and ham (ketchup too)
Brussells Pate
Nutella

and very occasionally....

Peanut butter

Toast is so versatile. :D

Marmite, Marmalade or butter....not all at the same time.

Cheese on toast is good - as are sardines!

Depending on whether I'm in a sweet or savoury mood, I like slices of ham or a generous spread of nutella.
Gotta be warm tho - can't be doing with cold toast!

sorry but its just gotta be beans!

4 slices of toast, full tin of Heinz baked beans... mmmmmmm... I'm such a greedy pig :D

if it has to be spreadable stuff though, then it has to be my grans homemade strawberry jam, and lots of it... OMG that stuff is to die for!!

On my toast i have been known to have the following:

Butter
Cheese
Banana

Seedless Blackcurrent Jam
Chocolate spread... mmm melts quite nicely

Not all at the same time may i add...

Hmmm all this talk of toast... making my taste buds water...

One thing i never fancied tho was my Mum on toast  when i was younger an asked her what we were having for tea her reply would be 'Me on toast'... :D why is it parents come out with such daft sayings... :?

I can thoroughly recommend Tabasco sauce on dry toast - delicious and low fat (depending on the bread!)
