I have installed the Free Windows Registry Cleaner, after running the repair it said there were above 300 errors which I removed, thinking that I would have the option to restore them if anything was wrong, well now I can't access any programmes all I get is the initial installation box. I have tried restoring from my Start button but when I get to the sysem button all I get is the FWRC initial installation box,. What can I do,?

Well if system restore doesnt work then a re-install will be the only way back (either full OS or the individual things that have gone walkabout)

What you need is a time machine. Then you can go back in time and make sure you have all your install disks and suitable back-ups before messing with the registry. Hope that helps.

Sorry! :hihi:

I really think you may be stuck though, it sounds like it has deleted stuff that the programs need so you will need the disks to put the stuff back on.

Long shot - can you get into safe mode? If you can I have a program to repair MSI installer problems (if this is the cause, may not be)

I don't suppose you have a backup of the system ?
