Apparantly there are some tickets left, so just going up to hillsborough to get one. Wondered if anyone else off the forum was going tonight.

We played rubbish first half, thought it was a different team second half with how much better we played

To be fair, i reckon there will have been a few nervous players out there for wednesday this evening after saturdays affair, so all in all it was a decent performance in the end.
The main thing is they have got through a tricky away fixture.

There's a free thing on virginmedia somewhere I believe. It's still far too early to say anything obviously, but mission accomplished for you boys, just like us v. Chesterfield.

Having viewed the match on Sky, the turning point came with Whelan's equaliser, seconds before half-time (good lay-off, sweet strike). Had the Owls gone in at 0-1, they may have struggled. Laws was looking distinctly uneasy after half an hour and even more agitated when Watson shot over from close range.
Just after half-time, Wednesday took command with two more goals - early in the half and that put the game to bed - Rotherham had shot their bolt. Didn't disagree with either manger's assessment. Rotherham will 'take a few positives' and the win will have done Wednesday some good, getting back on track after Ipswich. The superior skill (don't get carried away) told in the end. They need a good cup run in either competition, not only to boost spirit but to raise much-needed revenue.
Guest, Trevor Francis, posed the question: "I wonder how much of the £3m they got for Brunt, will go to Brian Laws for players?"

The money will be wasted anyway
